Maybelline baby Lips limited NY fashion edition

Its a totally implusive buy. I do not like to have anything on my lips, not even lip balm.
Okay, maybe occassionally I might when I really feel like dressing up a little, I would prefer some gloss on my lips.
The ultimate reasons that this was purchase was purely and soley because of the word "limited edition".
The word "limited addition" can do wonders to my brain. It will send encrypted information that trigger, "buy me please, I am limited"!! (⌒-⌒; )

Do you also have implusive buys because its a limited edition??

Where is my pandora box?

I never knew why people can get so obsessed with Pandora. Perhaps, as the name suggest, many would have heard of the pandora box, when open, releasing all kind of evils. In this case, with a similar concept, releasing captivating charms that charmed the hearts of many woman.

I was never a fan of Pandora, I never understood why their bracelet and charms can be so expensive and some, in fact most, not really my cup of tea. Their charms starts from SGD$45 and the price will continue to go on depending on the intricate design and material use. Their smallest chain is from 16cm in length. They have many charms to choose from, it will send your eyes bedazzled.

Seriously, I doubt the salesgirl will take out one by one for you to view so I suggest you take a look on their website before heading down to the stores to purchase.

Pandora Website: www.pandora.net/

Their jewellery is based on silver and of cos, there is alternative choices of selection in between just like Tiffany and Co. (Honestly, their prices is good competition as very similar pricing for, you know, just silver)

I got captivated by the spell, after I spotted this carriage.

Cost of charm (carriage): SGD$150
Bracelet: (16cm) SGD$120

And the spell begins....

You can use the charms to tell your story, or simply just put everything or any charms, spacer, etc you like on your bracelet. I am looking forward to collect my next charms.

Have you been enchanted yet??

Chanel Gel Eyeshadow

I have always been looking for the perfect "black"for the eyes. The effect is always somewhat not right, regardless of the brands I tried.

The eyeshadow/eyeliner comes with a portable brush.

The only downside of this product, it's not waterproof. So no tears yea?
It's smooth and easy to glide on and it can be used for an eyeshadow and eyeliner.

Personally, I used it as eyeliner as I feel that it is too much and too heavy to use as an eyeshadow. I mean black all over your eyelids somewhat weird.

To make sure I don't waste my other eyeliners, I usually layer this on top. Another reason is, if the colour somewhat comes off thereafter, and you can't touch up your make up, you don't have to worry of being a freak and looks awkward. Especially so for me as I never carry any makeup along with me for touch up most of the time unless I know I will be out for a long time and still having to attend an important function thereafter.

The brush is soft but it always best to clean it after use as the brush that is on display is somewhat not in shape and not as soft as the new one.

The eyeshadow has some glitter powder and it will create a black shimmery effect on your eyes but rest assured, it's great for daily wear and it does not create an overwhelming effect.

Cookie Muesum

Another ubber belated post since the haul.

I have always wanted to go into their shop and grab a bite on their mouth watering cookies but a zillion times, I had to put on hold as any one who has passed by their shop at The Esplanade has to agree it looks freaking expensive.

It indeed is. A box of cookies cost SGD$45!!! and only has 16 pieces in it.

Alas, I could not hold on my craving any longer and decided to just go with it and try.

There has to be a reason why their cookies is so expensive right? Other than it have to taste nice (it better be, as its freaking expensive, Lolz~)

Apparently, their cookies selection has limited quality and they never repeated the cookies stock. They only keep coming up with new ones.

Their cookies is super soft that kinda melt instantly in your mouth the moment you put it in.

They have a variety of cookies and the latest I knew of, they even have flavours like Nasi Lemak and Laksa, the so called "Singapore taste". And my, it's really taste like you have a plate of nasi lemak or a bowl of laksa. This was offered for cookies tasting the last time I was invited for a cookies tasting.

The shop itself also a very jazz atmosphere that you could just read a book over some their tea. (which is equally nice as TWG but perhaps more expensive too).

In short, one can always put there as one of the option for relaxation.

The staff are super nice and friendly too. It's one of the best services I can say.

On a cold and rainy day, would you crave for some cookies and tea?

One piece, one piece !!!

Have I ever mentioned how addicted I am to ships especially pirate ships? Here is an overview of the famous and one of the most well know pirate ship of the anime "Óne piece"

Name of the pirate ship: Thousand Sunny

Luffy, the owner of the this pirate ship (his second ship) is always full of vibe and this unbeatable energy of "Never say die"attitude is so admirable.

You can check through wikipedia to know more on it:
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Thousand_Sunny

How the box looks like:

 The parts.
 Some more parts and stickers.

The completed ship trying to be on "ïmaginery water". Can't get it to stand properly though cos there is a special part to leviate the boat and the water. As the ship was not painted, some of the parts where stickers are not workable, it's just the plastic colour, As such, it's not exactly like the diagram on the box or the actual Thousand Sunny.

Do you like one piece pirate ships??

Laline

Newly open in the heart of town, Marina Square. This lovely, princess theme is bound to lift your spirits in its own magical way in one way or another. Every item is properly wrapped in their wrapper before packing into the shopping bag which is equally lovely. One of the hit items in such shops is usually their spa product which you can see the review below. This are pictures from some of the hauls from the shop from a while back.

The comb is make from wood and ain't the polka dots on the comb just added more feel to it? (Especially so for anyone who is crazy over polka dots.) The bristles are made in such a way that they are very close together, if your hair is more of volume, it might not be suitable for you.
There are so many fragrances to choose from for the spa salt and I overwhelmed with the choices. Ultimately, I decided to settle for the Ocean scent, it has a very light floral aroma. The body scrub is mixed with scrub salt and aroma oil. When you first put on it, you probably feel oily and uncomfortable and its seems like you can never really clean yourself properly. The best part is after the shower, your skin will feel extra soft and smooth and you will fee like you have just come out of the spa. The scrub is scoop up with a wooden spoon alike thingy which is sold separately but recommended to purchase so not as to contaminate the rest of the scrub that has yet to be used.

In case, if you have sensitive skin and wonders if it could be use... I have extremely sensitive skin and so far the product works fine for me and leaves my skin soft and moisturized.

The scrub has a piece of plastic on the opening of the bottle.

The wrapper that looks like their paper bag.
Laline Roll on perfume - Laline Girls. It comes in bottles and sprays too. Its has a stronger smell and it is more lasting than most of the perfume that I own. It comes in 4 fragrances if I did not remember wrongly.

Have you tried Laline products? Do you like them??
